How to Pick a Shooting Alias
March 20th, 2008You don’t need one, but there are lots of reasons you might want one. An alias that is, a cowboy shooting alias.
First off, an alias is fun. There’s nothing like going to a local shoot and calling someone a “Gnarly Old Dude” without getting into a fist fight.
Second, an alias is meaningful.
When I chose mine, I thought first of one of my favorite Clint Eastwood films, Pale Rider. But the more I thought of it, the more I wanted my alias to picture a time and place expressive of my own unique personality and history.
