June 26-29–CFDA Nationals in Idaho City, Idaho! Registration is limited, so sign-up early. See Ronin to pool a ride. Information, schedule and sign-up at www.cowboyfastdraw.com. The nationals are one of two “don’t miss” events on the CFDA calendar, the other being the 2008 World Cowboy Fast Draw Championships, in Fallon, Nevada on October1-5, when we hope to charter as an official CFDA club!
July 5–Practice 10 AM until Noon. This is the perfect time to introduce others to this fun and fast-growing sport! Don’t have a holster? Haven’t bought your gun? Not to worry, club members will be happy to loan you what you need to see if you like it!

I was wondering when the first meeting will be. My dad and I were interested in coming out to sit in on a meeting. This sounds like a group my dad would have a lot of fun with.
Thanks
Jake
We’ll nail down this date in just a couple of days. Stay tuned!
Ronin, Thanks, I copied the picture. Enjoyed meeting you, wish you could have stuck around for the second day of the shoot. I had a good time there, missed first place by 4 thousandths. Hope to see you at the Nationals. Ray
That 15 year old that tied the Reverend at .501 at the May 24 event was my son, Ian Knowles, who is actually just 14. It was his first time shooting. We had a great time, good people, good sport, good location.
Great having the two of you there. We’d love to have you guys back, and particularly your son. He made me shoot better…loved the competition.
this is the funnest sport ever!!!!!
We will be back!
